. Belzer and Henry Winkler (most notably the Fonz on Happy Days) are cousins. As of 2004, Tom Arnold is the co-host of Fox Sports Net's talk show Best Damn Sports Show Period and he also provides the voice for Arby's "Oven Mitt" character in television commercials. He has also appeared as Munch in Law & Order and The X-Files. Also in 1994, Arnold appeared as Arnold Schwarzenegger's sidekick in the James Cameron blockbuster True Lies. He followed that success with starring roles on Homicide: Life on the Street and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, playing the same character (John Munch) in both series. Arnold and Barr divorced in 1994. He was a regular on The Flash television show.

The couple's marriage attracted media and especially tabloid attention due to their sometimes outrageous behavior. In the 1990s, Belzer appeared frequently on television. On the set of the program, he met the show's star, Roseanne Barr, whom he later married. He is noted for his small roles in Fame, Night Shift, and Scarface. Tom Arnold was a writer who appeared regularly as the character "Arnie Thomas" in the popular television sitcom Roseanne (which went on the air in 1988). In the late 1970s and early 1980s, Belzer became an occasional film actor. He was born in Ottumwa, Iowa. He participated in the Channel One comedy group that satirized television and became the basis for the cult movie The Groove Tube.

Tom Arnold (born March 6, 1959) is an American actor and comedian. After the Army, Belzer moved to New York City and began working as a stand-up comic. He soon realized it was a mistake and tried to get out. He unsuccessfully attended junior college and later enlisted in the Army. After high school he was a reporter for the Bridgeport Post.

He worked as a paperboy and became known in school for his uncontrollable wit. Born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, he grew up with his parents and older brother. Richard Belzer (born August 4, 1944) is an American stand up comic and actor.
