Shabana Azmi

One of the leading actresses of parallel cinema, she is now maried to the lyricist and poet Javed Akhtar. In September 2004 she briefly joined the Coronation Street cast. As an actress, she has starred in Amar Akbar Anthony, Makdee, and Tehzeeb. A song she recorded with Patrick MacNee in the 1960s, Kinky Boots, was a surprise hit in 1990 after it was played incessantly by Radio 1 breakfast show presenter Simon Mayo. Shabana Azmi (born 18 September 1950 at New Delhi , India ) is the daughter of famous Urdu poet Kaify Azmi. Following her early career as a glamorous leading lady, she returned to television in the ITV sitcom, The Upper Hand, during the 1990s. In 1963, she married the actor, Maurice Kaufmann, and they appeared together in the film, Fright (1971); they divorced in 1975.

Blackman trained as an actress at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. She is mostly remembered for the roles of Cathy Gale in The Avengers and as Bond girl Pussy Galore in Goldfinger. Honor Blackman (12 December 1927 -) is a British actress.
