She currently stars as Sarah Bannerman in the television series The Dead Zone. In addition the principal in the movie and in the video is played by the same actor. She also starred in the Canadian-made science fiction series Deepwater Black (aka Mission Genesis, and in episodes of the Canadian produced SF series The Outer Limits). Their video for the ABBA cover "Dancing Queen" bears an unmistakable likeness plotwise to the 1985 John Hughes film "The Breakfast Club". DeBoer's most noted role is that of Ezri Dax on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (seventh season, 1999), though she has also featured in the Kids in the Hall movie, Brain Candy (1996), and the critically-received science fiction film, Cube (1997). In late 2004, Dhani Lennevald released his first single as a solo artist titled "Girl Talk". She is married to John Kastner. Like many before them, the A-Teens have not achieved success like ABBA has, but then again, what ABBA had was something rare and very hard to recreate.

In 1999, they released their first album ABBA Generation consisting of ABBA covers. Therefore, not wanting to cause a confrontation with their musical predecessor and icon, they shortened their name to A-Teens. They were first called the ABBA Teens, but a member of ABBA said that he would sue if they did not change their name. The A-Teens are a pop group from Stockholm, Sweden, formed in 1998.
