Laura San Giacomo

She is the cousin of Torry Castellano, a member of the rock group The Donnas. Her first husband was Anthony Soglio, with whom she was married from 1955 to 1957. San Giacomo has been married twice; to actor Cameron Dye (1990-1998), with whom she has a son, Mason (born 1996), and to actor Matt Adler (since 2000). It became then known that from 1961 to her death she had been married to Ike Jones, an African-American actor. She was the lead character in the sitcom Just Shoot Me (1997-2003) and did voice work for the animated series Gargoyles. Inger Stevens committed suicide with an overdose of sleeping pills. She has appeared in the films Sex, Lies, and Videotape (1989), Pretty Woman (1990), Quigley Down Under (1990), and Nina Takes a Lover (1994), among others. Several roles in major films followed, but she had the greatest success with her leading role in the TV series The Farmer's Daughter, and also with roles in TV episodes of series like The Twilight Zone, Bonanza and The Alfred Hitchcock Hour.

San Giacomo was born in New Jersey and attended the Carnegie Mellon School of Drama. Later she made commercials, smaller plays and TV appearances, until she finally got her big chance in the movie Man on Fire, with Bing Crosby.
