Kevin J. Anderson is a prolific science fiction author. He is best known for his spin-off novels (he has written, or co-written spin-offs for Star Wars, StarCraft, Titan A.E., and The X-Files, and is the co-author of the Dune prequels), but he has also written original works with characters of his own creation.

The series was made available to overseas broadcasters by the BBC Transcription Service. The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, a novelization of the 2003 movie. Other stories followed and were presented by BBC radio over the years from 1947 to 1961. Captain Nemo (2002) (a fictional life of Jules Verne's Captain Nemo). The series debuted on BBC radio with the story "Lady in a Fog" in October 1947.
