Jessica Walter

She is married to actor Ron Leibman. She died from a kidney ailment. As of 2004, she now stars as the socialite mother Lucille Bluth in FOX's comedic series Arrested Development. She was married to the English film director Sir Carol Reed (1943-1947). These films were all made in the sixties and since then Jessica has done extensive television work. She appeared in such other films as Gaslight, Tom Brown's Schooldays and Island in the Sun. She is best known for her roles in Play Misty for Me, in which she played a psychotic stalker, Lilith, Grand Prix, The Group, Bye Bye Braverman, and Number One. She was nominated that same year for the Academy Award for Best Actress for Cavalcade.
