Jennifer Dempster

She typically participated in the aerobics and stretching segments, although she did occasionally appear in the resistance training and viewer mail portions as well. Potts is currently a visiting professor of Drama at the school. Jennifer Dempster was a regular cast member on the television fitness show BodyShaping , which is now shown in reruns. She has been instrumental in fundraising efforts for the college for many years. Today, Potts continues as a dedicated alumna and Board Member of Stephens College. She is probably best known for her roles in Ghostbusters and in the television sitcom, Designing Women, but has done a wide variety of prominent roles in both television and film.

She is the daughter of Powell Grisette Potts and Dorothy Harris (Billingslea) Potts and has two older sisters, Mary Eleanor (Potts) Hovious, and Elizabeth Grissette ("Dollie") Potts. She then received her Bachelor in Fine Arts degree (in theater arts) from Stephens College in Missouri. She was born in Franklin, Kentucky, where she graduated from Franklin-Simpson High School. Annie Potts (born October 28, 1952) is an American television and film actress.
