Jack Davenport

Ripley. Linden is currently the national spokesperson for the Jewish National Fund. Davenport's best known TV roles have been in This Life, Ultraviolet, and Coupling, while his most notable movie appearances were in Pirates of the Caribbean and The Talented Mr. Linden chose his stage name after spotting a gas storage tank with the word "Linden" (as in Linden, New Jersey) written on it in huge letters - "large enough for a big star". After attending the University of East Anglia, he wrote to John Cleese who gave Jack a role in his film Fierce Creatures. He began his career as a saxophone player and leader of dance bands. Jack Davenport is a British actor, born on March 1, 1973, in Suffolk, England. More recently he has appeared in movies.
