Linden is currently the national spokesperson for the Jewish National Fund. Despite the death of his character in the series finale of Buffy, he reprised the role in the final 5th season of Angel as a series regular. Linden chose his stage name after spotting a gas storage tank with the word "Linden" (as in Linden, New Jersey) written on it in huge letters - "large enough for a big star". James left the band mid-2004 and began a new solo career with a London acoustic concert in October 2004. He began his career as a saxophone player and leader of dance bands. Their debut album Mad Brilliant was released on February 2, 2003. More recently he has appeared in movies. In 2003-4, he was also lead singer for the little known rock band, Ghost of the Robot.
