Gummo Marx

He was given his nickname because he wore gum-soled shoes. Donald "Ducky" Mallard. The agency was later sold and Gummo turned to representing his brother Groucho Marx and television show The Life of Riley, which he helped develop. He is currently starring in the CBS television series "Navy NCIS" as the character Dr. Later he joined with his brother Zeppo Marx and operated a theatrical agency. They were married in September 1967 and have two children, Peter and Sophie. After leaving the act, Gummo went into the dressmaking business. He is now married to Katherine (Carpenter).

This was before they made any of their famous movies. They had three sons, Paul, Jason (adopted), and Valentine. He worked with his brothers on Vaudeville, but left the act because he did not like performing. He was married to the actress Jill Ireland from 1957 to 1967. Milton Marx (October 23, 1892 - April 21, 1977), known as Gummo, was one of the Marx Brothers. Although he subsequently became a familiar face on television, he was never able to achieve the same level of popular success as he had done with his role as Kuryakin, a Russian secret agent. The Man From U.N.C.L.E., intended as a vehicle for Robert Vaughn, unexpectedly made McCallum into a sex symbol.
