The band subsequently announced its breakup, to occur after a final tour. In 2004 she re-entered the limelight by recording a song in conjunction with former Deep Purple legend Jon Lord "The Sun will Shine Again" and also appearing with Benny and Bjorn at the London 5th Anniversary performance of the musical based on Abba songs, "Mamma Mia". Poor sales of It's All In Your Head (192,000 Units Moved) resulted in Eve 6's release from their record contract with RCA. After the break-up of Abba in 1982 Frida released a successful album, "There's Something Going On" though the follow-up "Shine" was less popular and proved her last foray into the music world for some years. Romance and angst are common themes. In 1992 Anni-Frid married His Highness Prince Heinrich Ruzzo Reuss von Plauen (1950-1999), of the Princely Reuss family. The group was perhaps best known for its lyrics, which feature vivid imagery and inventive wordplay: two of the group's hits, "Inside Out" (from their self-titled album) and "Promise" (from Horrorscope), are good examples of this style. She married Benny on October 6, 1978 - divorcing in 1981.

Eve 6's musical style was relatively limited, with the notable exception of their innovative final album, It's All in Your Head, which featured a wide range of songs. She made a second in 1971, produced by Benny Andersson, laying the foundations for ABBA. In 1967 Anni-Frid won a TV talent contest, and made an album for EMI. Tony Fagenson, who auditioned while attending the University of Southern California, was an X-Files fan. Anni-Frid got her first job as a jazz singer at the age of 13, then formed her own band, the Anni-Frid Four, marrying the bass player Ragnar Fredriksson at age 18, with whom she had two children before divorcing. The band formed in 1995 in La Crescenta, California as Eleventeen; the name Eve 6 was only adopted later, after they already had a recording contract and were looking for a replacement drummer. Synni died before Anni-Frid was two, so she was brought up by her grandmother in Eskilstuna, Sweden.

Eve 6 was a punk band from Southern California, whose first album was released in 1998 and which disbanded in 2004. At the end of WWII Anni-Frid, her mother and grandmother fled to Sweden for fear of reprisals from the Norwegian population - whose socialist government put many German-fathered children into mental institutions, or sent them overseas.
