Dina Meyer

She has had quite a few roles in science fiction movies, for example as soldier Dizzy Flores in Starship Troopers, an action/sci-fi movie. She sometimes appears in credits as "Penelope Miller". Before that, however, she also had a role in the TV series Beverly Hills 90210. In 2000, she married James Huggins and later that year had her first child Eloisa May. Meyer's film debut was in the TV film Strapped in 1993, although her role in the cyberpunk thriller Johnny Mnemonic was more important and perhaps the breakthrough. She has appeared in a number of TV and theatrical movies since then, notably Carlito's Way in 1993. She currently lives in Los Angeles. Her film debut came in 1987 in Adventures in Babysitting, while in 1988 her role as Emily in Our Town garnered her a Tony award nomination.

Among the hobbies and interests are snowboarding, rollerblades and biking. She moved to New York City to study theater after graduating from high school. She attended Long Island University, where she majored in Business Administration.
