Daliah Lavi

With the decline of her film career, Lavi began a successful schlager singing career in Germany, with hits such as "Oh, wann kommst du?" and "Willst du mit mir geh'n?". For the 1924 musical, see Rose-Marie. However, her most famous role is probably as 'The Detainer/007' in Casino Royale (1967) opposite Woody Allen. After appearing for many years on The Dick Van Dyke Show, Rose Marie had a semi-regular seat on the 1970s version of Hollywood Squares. Lavi's film appearances include Mario Bava's gothic classic La Frusta e il corpo (1963), and the first Matt Helm movie The Silencers (1966). At five she became a radio star on NBC, made a series of films and, as a teenager, became a nightclub peformer before becoming a comedienne. Returning to Israel, her career took off properly in 1960, when she started appearing in a large number of European and American productions. Conversant in several langauges, she has been in German, French, Italian, Spanish and English-language films. Born Rose Marie Mazetta in New York City she became a performer at the age of three.

Born in Shavei Zion, she studied ballet in Stockholm, where she appeared in her first film: Hemsöborna (1955). Rose Marie (born August 15, 1923) is an actress who had a career as a child star under the name Baby Rose Marie but is best known for her adult role as Sally Rogers in the The Dick Van Dyke Show.
