Christopher Meloni

Meloni is frequently confused with actor Elias Koteas. It is interesting to note that in both Neighbours and Memento Pearce's character suffers a head injury that results in a change of his demeanour. In 2002 he gave an acclaimed performance as disgraced detective Mark Fuhrman in TV-movie Murder in Greenwich Village (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0339422/). However he continues to act in Australian theatre productions as well as Australian films such as The Hard Word (2002) and makes his home in Melbourne. His most recent movie appearance was as Freakshow in the independent comedy Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle. He has also appeared in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Wet Hot American Summer, and after director Garry Marshall saw him on "Oz", he was cast as Julia Roberts' fiance in The Runaway Bride. Since then, he has appeared in several US productions including L.A. Confidential, Ravenous, Rules of Engagement, Memento, The Count of Monte Cristo and The Time Machine.
