Adrien Brody

Adrien Brody (born April 14, 1973) is an American actor.

He was born in New York City and his mother is the Hungarian-born photojournalist Sylvia Plachy.

Brody hovered on the brink of stardom before getting his due recognition when he was cast as the lead in Roman Polanski's The Pianist (2002). The role won him an Academy Award for Best Actor.

Playing the halfback position on his university's Crimson Tide football team, Brown helped his team to become the 1926 NCAA Division I-A national football champions. The Jacket (2005). Born and raised in Dothan, Alabama, Brown was a star of the high school football team, earning a football scholarship to the University of Alabama. King Kong (2005).
